Areas of Focus

  • A smiling woman in a light purple dress sitting at a table playing with colorful building blocks.

    Anxiety Disorders

I have experience treating Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Separation Anxiety, Specific Phobias, School Avoidance, and Social Anxiety. I am trained in SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) and use it to guide my work with families.

  • Living room with two mustard-colored armchairs, a potted plant between them, and film production clappers on one armchair. Tall floor lamps and light-colored curtains in the background.

    Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

OCD can feel overwhelming when unwanted thoughts and repetitive behaviors take over. Using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), I guide kids and teens in facing fears step by step and breaking free from compulsions.

  • Two people sitting and holding hands, with a dark background. One person is wearing a light denim jacket and a gray shirt, and the other is in a black long-sleeve shirt.

    ADHD

ADHD can make focus, organization, and daily routines challenging for the whole family. I work with families to establish routines and strategies tailored to their needs, often partnering with schools to ensure children receive consistent support in the classroom.

  • A child looking scared and covering her eyes.

    Athlete Mental Health

Student-athletes often juggle the pressures of school, sports, and social life. I help athletes manage stress, recover from setbacks, and build the skills they need to thrive both on and off the field. As a former college athlete, I have firsthand experience with the pressures of competitive sports, which informs my work with young athletes.

  • Grief, Illness, and Changing Family Dynamics

Big changes such as the loss of a loved one, illness in the family, or a separation/divorce can feel overwhelming for children. Drawing on my experience working in a hospital during the pandemic, I help children process their feelings, build coping skills, and adapt to new family dynamics.

  • Third Culture Kids

Children who grow up in multiple countries often face unique challenges such as identity confusion and adjustment to new environments. I grew up overseas and firsthand understand the experience of navigating different cultural environments and adjusting to new living environments.
